Wisconsin Secures Verbal Pledge from Maryland High School Record-holder Madison Waechter

Waechter swims year-round for Rockville Montgomery Swim Club. She was a multiple-event finalist at the NCSA Spring Championships, and again at the Potomac Valley Swimming Long Course Championships in July.

Her top times are:

Shouldn’t it be MD state high-school record? The Maryland ‘state record’ is either a 4:30 swum by Katie Hoff in ’07 (the MD LSC record) or a 4:26 swum by Ledecky in ’15 (the PV LSC record).
