Luca Urlando finished 3rd in the 200 butterfly at the 2021 Olympic Trials. One year after that, he had shoulder surgery. 2 years later, after moving training locations to swim with Bob Bowman, Luca Urlando made his first Olympic team.

Luca was throwing down the same times in the 200 that Milak was (at same age) before all his turmoil with injury and the 2020 BS and another injury. So pumped he is back to form. He was on the verge of the JrWR at one point.

The only UGA undergrad to make the team had to leave for two years and train somewhere else!
Probably not good for recruiting!
