2022 FINA WORLD CUP – INDIANAPOLIS

È in corso la seconda giornata della tappa di Indianapolis della FINA World Cup. Dopo le finale di ieri sera, la giornata di oggi sarà sicuramente caratterizzata da gare più emozionanti.

Katie Ledecky ha dominato la scorsa notte i 400 stile libero femminili, ma oggi dovrà affrontare una sfida più forte nei 200. Innanzitutto, la detentrice del record mondiale Siobhan Haughey è in campo. Anche Summer McIntosh, detentrice del record mondiale juniores, è in gara. Saranno in gara anche le stelle americane Bella Sims, Leah Hayes, Erin Gemmell e Claire Weinstein.

Shaine Casas ha stabilito il record di Coppa del Mondo nei 200 misti maschili la scorsa settimana a Toronto e oggi andrà a caccia di un altro titolo.

Questa mattina si svolgeranno anche le manche lente dei 400 misti femminili e dei 1500 stile libero maschili. Le serie veloci saranno disputate stanotte in finale.
