Allison Brown from Marietta, Georgia has announced her intention to remain in-state for her collegiate career with a verbal commitment to the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Brown is in the class of 2022 at Lassiter High School. She swims year-round with Chattahoochee Gold Swim Club.
Brown is a rangy freestyler with particular strength in the mid-distance range. She was runner-up in both the 200 free (1:50.82) and 500 free (4:56.92) at the 2021 Georgia High School 6A State Swimming and Diving Championships. Those times, both lifetime bests when she swam them, were vast improvements from 2020 when she placed 4th in the 200 free (1:53.74) and 7th in the 500 free (5:07.64) at the high school state meet.
A week after 2021 6A states, she competed at the 6th Annual Famous Last Words meet and picked up a pair of PBs in the 200 back and 200 fly. In March, at the Georgia LSC Senior Short Course Championships, she improved her lifetime bests in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 1000 free, and 100 fly, finaling those events as well as the 500 free and 200 fly.
