So happy these two continue to be generous with their time and candid with their insights. That’s true of all the athletes who do all the interviews and podcasts. The joint interviews with Kate and Regan just make it stand out more to me that they don’t need to do this, but that they choose to, and I really enjoy the insights and candor and what it can do for the sport and the fans.

I really liked hearing Kate talk about feeling the waves in the medley relay. I wondered about that. Regan’s take on swimming fly in the mixed medley was fun too.

Another podcast gem by SwimSwam’s MVP, Coleman Hodges!

Side question regarding Regan: does she take any side classes (either in the past at ASU) or currently at Texas? She has no reason for a degree (her life’s has got a different trajectory). I’m just curious how she feeds her mind outside the pool.

FWIW: Regan is already an alumna from Stanford. According to former Stanford president Gerhard Casper (1992-2000): “completing 3 full time quarters at Stanford makes one an alumnus of the university.” Regan’s freshman year at SU qualifies her for this .
