Brazil’s De Deus Punches Ticket to Third Olympic Games, Costa Adds 800 Free

De Deus’s victory in the 100 fly qualified him for his 3rd consecutive Olympics. Costa posted the 8th fastest 800 free time in the world this season: 7:50.41

Vini Lanza Misses 200 Fly Final at Brazilian Olympic Trials Day 3 Prelims

Lanza finished ninth in 2:04.17, out in 56.63 but back in a rough 1:07.54. He was 32.20 on the third 50 but had a brutal final 50 at 35.34.
