It’s good that Lydia Jacoby is saying all these.

But I’m worried about her mental health. It seems she’s still thinking and (wrongly) assuming what everyone is thinking about her by saying all these.

Did she scratch the 200 Breast, so that there would not be an empty lane in a key circle-seeded heat?

She was like the “Megan Quann” of this generation. Back in the Sydney 2000 Olympics when she won the gold medal at the 100m breaststroke, many people were crazy at her, especially in her hometown in Puyallup, Washington. She was 16 years old during that time.

By the way, who remembers her? That was 24 years ago!

Also, Quann didn’t make it to the Athens 2004 Olympics, she was placed 3rd? during the trials. However, she had a brief comeback at the Beijing 2008 Olympics at age 24 (under her married name Megan Jendrick), winning silver at the heats only.

In other sports like gymnastics, not all of them compete in two or more Olympics.
