The Jenks girls swept the relays to highlight their championship victory, while senior Marissa Williams contributed 35 points individually after picking up a win in the 100 fly.
Kicking off the meet in the 200 medley relay, the Jenks quartet of Mylie Bradley (26.73), Macie Bradley (29.72), Williams (25.35) and Lillian Eaton (23.79) combined for a time of 1:45.59, with Eaton’s anchor leg putting them comfortably ahead of runner-up Bartlesville (1:47.09).
Williams then earned victory for Jenks in the 100 fly, clocking a lifetime best of 56.66 in the prelims before winning the final in 56.86.
Midway through the meet in the 200 free relay, Macie Bradley (23.97), Cora Davis (24.24), Sakura Obanion (25.16) and Ellie Mink (24.52) finished in 1:37.89 to give Jenks a dominant win over Edmond Memorial (1:41.73), with Bradley’s lead-off proving to be the fastest split in the field.

Three swimmers swept their individual events, including two from the runner-up team from Bartlesville.
Junior Addie Howze set a new 6A state record in the 100 back, clocking 54.59 to break the previous mark of 54.76 she set en route to winning the event last year.
Howze also defended her title in the 200 IM, setting a new best time of 2:02.92 to near the 6A record of 2:02.27 set by Kate Steward in 2018.
Bartlesville sophomore Anna Young also went two-for-two as she successfully defended her titles in the 200 free (1:53.58) and 500 free (5:06.78), owning respective best times of 1:51.08/4:57.18.
Edmond North senior Laney Jones also won both of her individual events, topping the 50 free (23.25) and 100 free (51.62) with new best times after she placed 3rd in both races last year.
The other winner was Ponca City Wildcat senior Jessalyn Carpenter, who defended her title in the 100 breast (1:04.57) after placing 2nd in the 100 fly earlier in the meet. Jenks’ Mylie Bradley (1:05.32) and Macie Bradley (1:06.12) placed 2nd and 3rd in the 100 breast.

BOYS’ RECAP
The Jenks boys were led by juniors Reece Pangburn and Reid Hudson as they won their sixth title in seven seasons on Saturday, finishing 44 points clear of Bartlesville.
Pangburn successfully defended his state title in the 100 breast, clocking 55.89 to shatter his personal best of 56.58 set in the prelims after coming into the meet with a PB of 57.62.
Pangburn also neared the 6A state record of 55.65 set by Bartlesville’s Aaron Keesling in 2017.
Pangburn was also victorious in the 100 fly, setting a personal best of 49.33 in the final to edge out Edmond North senior Garrett Levendofsky (49.91). Last season, Pangburn placed 4th in the 100 fly final.
Hudson won the 200 free for Jenks in a time of 1:38.98, emerging over Edmond North’s Jack Starrett (1:39.14) in a tight race, reversing their finishes from last season when Starrett won the title and Jenks was the runner-up.
The two swimmers locked horns a second time in the 100 free, with Starrett setting a massive lifetime best to win the final in 45.05, marking first time under the 46-second barrier while Hudson was the runner-up in 46.56.
Jenks also won the 200 medley relay, with Evan Powers (24.29), Pangburn (25.60), Ethan Adkins (23.72) and Jordan Erickson (22.88) clocking 1:36.49 to pace the field by more than two seconds.
Starrett featured prominently in the other two relays, which were won by Edmond North.
In the 200 free relay, Riley Conway (21.52), Dylan Eden (22.16), Levendofsky (21.15) and Starrett (20.58) finished in 1:25.41 to win by more than three seconds and come within a second of the 6A record of 1:24.52.
To close things out in the 400 free relay, Starrett led off in 45.72 and was followed by Conway (47.46), Jonah Beth (49.29) and Levendofsky (46.23) as they won comfortably in a time of 3:08.70.
In addition to Pangburn and Hudson, the other clear individual standout of the meet was Norman High School junior JD Thumann, who defended his 6A title in the 50 free and also topped the 100 back after he won the 100 fly last year.
Thumann, a Cal commit, won the 50 free in a time of 20.00 to narrowly miss his lifetime best of 19.93 set in December at Winter Juniors – East.
He followed up by setting a big best time in the 100 back, dropping from 49.06 to 47.98 to win the final by nearly three seconds, with Stillwater junior Elias Mendez the runner-up in 50.75.
Mendez had a win of his own in the 200 IM, setting new best times in both the prelims (1:53.66) and final (1:53.39).
The 500 free went to Edmond Memorial junior Max Spory, as he defended his title in 4:36.47 after setting a PB of 4:34.51 earlier in the month at the 6A West Regionals.
