Mallory Comerford claimed in the post-race interview that she just did her last 500 ever, and if that’s the case, she went out in style, blasting a 4:34.63 to win by over three seconds, pick up a NCAA ‘A’ cut, and put up the fastest time in the country.

Hansson’s swim this morning makes her the 11th-fastest individual performer all-time in short course yards, and the 2nd-fastest freshman all-time.

Ben Patton Blasts 1:46.7 200 IM at Kansas 5-1A State Championships

Wichita Heights picked up its third Kansas 5-1A Boy’s State Swimming & Diving title Saturday, February 16th, at the Capitol Federal Natatorium in Topeka, KS. Also the team champions in 2015 and 2017, Wichita Heights did not win a single event Saturday, relying on its depth for the victory instead.

Glenn, Park Double as Blue Valley West Clinches Kansas 6A Boys Title

Blue Valley West’s victory was led by senior Jonah Park and sophomore Kevin Glenn, each of whom left Cap Fed with 2 individual titles, as well as a State Record for Glenn in the 100 backstroke.

Innerebner Leads Michigan UP Champs With Two State Records

The 2019 Michigan Upper Peninsula State Swimming and Diving Championships concluded Thursday, February 16th, in Marquette, MI, and highlighted a pair of UP State Records by Sault Area junior Andrew Innerebner, who easily won the titles in the 100 and 200 yard freestyles.

Brazil to Send Six Men for the 4 x 100 Freestyle Relay in Tokyo 2020

Noting its potential to win a medal in a relay event at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Brazil will send six swimmers to compete on the men’s 4 x 100 freestyle relay, which will allow two of the athletes to rest during prelims and save their energy for the final.

Ottawa University Arizona Adds Men’s and Women’s Swimming in Fall 2019
