Below, you’ll find race videos from day two finals of the 2022 Minnesota Invite. The videos are from the ‘A’ finals of each race, as well as the fastest heat of the relays, which were swum as timed finals. Most of the videos in this post are from SwimSwam’s YouTube account, while the men’s 500 free and 200 IM race videos come from James Foster’s YouTube channel. We are missing the race video for the women’s 200 IM final.

- Texas – 1:17.32
Cal picked up the ‘A’ cut in the men’s 200 free relay, overcoming a less than ideal lead-off leg to take the race over in the end.
Destin Lasco has some of the smoothest looking Butterfly/Freestyle I have every seen. Clearly, it is powered by an insane leg drive, but the recovery of both strokes looks so effortless. His freestyle especially looked like a catchup drill. Impressive stuff and a great time for him during this time of the season where Cal is normally a bit “slower”
Also kind of nice to see notorious backstabbing large-ego haver Patrick Callan add 4 seconds and come out last in A final of 500 free. Did you know he transferred from Michigan? It’s not like anyone has everrrrr transferred from the maize and blue
Seeliger’s daddy Brooks Curry will be in his nightmares tonight
And then Seeliger will transfer to SMU!
