Day 3 of USA Swimming’s 2017 Speedo Junior National Championships will consist of prelims of the 400 free and the 100 fly.
There was only one scratch on Day 1, and it wasn’t Jake Foster. He will be in the A finals of both the 200 fly and the 100 breast.
17-year-old Reece Whitley is poised to break the 1-minute barrier in the 100 breast.
16-year-old Mary Smutny put up a pair of highlight performances, winning back-to-back events during the final session.
