So far, the inaugural season of the International Swimming League has brought plenty of excitement. And the final match between the top four squads, hosted in Las Vegas, NV will no doubt provide an exciting finish.
On this episode of the ProSwimTalk Podcast, host Chris Ritter and Skyler Findley discuss the current predictions and whether they agree or not. There’s even an interesting bet placed between the two of them at the end of the episode.
There’s no lack of start power in this final match. London Roar, the current favorite to win, is headlined by Adam Peaty and Kyle Chalmers on the men’s side. On the women’s side Emma McKeon and the Campbell sisters (Cate & Bronte) will account for a lot of points for the Roar.
Energy Standard boasts many thoroughbreds as well, including: Sarah Sjostrom, Emily Seebohm, Chad le Clos, Florent Manaudou and Ben Proud. They’re currently predicted to finish second behind London Roar but they definitely have the star power to make It interesting.
The two US and California teams, LA Current and Cali Condors will have plenty of superstars as well. The Condors’ top swimmers include: Caeleb Dressel, Kelsi Dahila, Hali Flickinger and Olivia Smoliga. While the Current’s top swimmers include: Kathleen Baker, Ella Eastin, Nathan Adrian and Matt Grevers.
