SCORING SYSTEM

Correctly picking a swimmer to place:

  • 1st – 7 points
  • 2nd – 6 points
  • 3rd – 5 points
  • 4th – 4 point

Correctly picking a swimmer to place in the top 4 but putting them in the wrong spot, will earn you 2 points.

Picks will close at Midnight U.S. Eastern Time as Friday, June 17 turns to Saturday, June 18, and at that time, we will post everyone’s picks for them to see.

You CAN go in and edit your responses up until midnight on Friday. You can also use this “edit responses” ability to go in and print or save your answers.

The tie-breaker for prizes, if necessary, will be the most correctly-picked winners in the relevant time period, then 2nd-place finishers, then 3rd-place finishers, etc. in the relevant time period.

I think if MA was swimming the 2IM it would be his best gold medal chance. It’s unrealistic in the 50free, 50free, 100 fly. I’m also leaning toward Arno and Fink having eye popping swims in the 100 breast.

I’m feeling like this is going to be a big breakout meet for Popovici and Hwang Sunwoo, the later of which I feel is really being slept on. I think they take the top two spots in the 200 free with Popovici triumphing and finishing in the same order in the 100 free only being beaten out by Dressel.

I was more bullish on Popovici than nHwang

When I win instead of the speedo prize I would like my swimswam comments to have downvotes permanently blocked in perpetuity.

I did way better than expected in the trials pickems but I’m expecting a reset back to the norm with this one.
