The Conference announced today that Cal’s Abbey Weitzeil was named Pac-12 Women’s Swimmer of the week and teammate Briana Thai was named Diver of the Week.

ASU’s Selim has been named Pac-12 Men’s Diver of the Week for the third time this season, while Cal’s Whitley wins Men’s Swimmer for the first time.

Weitzeil set a new Pool Record and Cal Dual Meet Record in the 50 free, while teammate Isabel Ivey won all 3 of her individual races.
Cal’s Whitley Snaps Cordes Pool Record, Gonzalez Breaks Chitwood Record vs. ASU
Whitley took down Kevin Cordes’ former 100 breast record in his sweep of the breaststroke records, while Gonzalez took down Cory Chitwood’s mark in the 400 IM
Macmillan Triples, Drabot Doubles in Stanford Win Over Arizona
All-American Katie Drabot, a Pan Pacs medalist, led the 200 fly in 1:55.23. She returned for the 500 free, outpacing Arizona’s Hannah Cox 4:46.36 to 4:49.24.
Cal’s Weitzel Breaks Pool Record with 47.7 100 Free vs. Arizona
That’s her fastest dual meet swim of her career, over half a second faster than her season dual meet best, and her first time breaking 48 in a dual meet.
