Coach’s Corner
“I was very impressed with how the team competed today. After a very tough week of training and a long bus ride, our team showed signs of progress from our last meet two weeks ago.
BU competed well and got off to a great start – I was happy with how our team continued to fight and settled into a great meet!
In many areas, the race details have improved since Princeton, but we still have a lot to clean up before we head to our bigger meets in the coming weeks. Our relay exchanges continue to be a touch too conservative – that will be a focus for the next few weeks.
Most importantly, I loved how the team fought hard and battled to the end in the close races. As a team, we closed out our races well and got our hand on the wall first when it was close.
I’m excited to finally race at home next week – it’s been a lot of meets on the road and I know our team is excited to compete in Crandall next week against a very talented and quickly improving St. Bonaventure team!” – Head Coach Brandt Nigro
“We had quite an impressive showing for this meet. All of our divers qualified for the NCAA Zones meet on at least one board. We had some very high highs, and a couple of lows to still work out, but overall were much improved from the previous two meets.” – Head Diving Coach Connor Dorff
Cadet’s Corner
“I’m so proud of the way our ladies and the team came together tonight for a great win against Boston University. We’ve been training harder than ever through October, but our performances in the pool and out of the pool in supporting each other show our strength as a program. I also love that our team showed out in pink and was able to support and raise awareness for breast cancer.” – Maggie Kroening
“October is one of our most intense training months and it’s a testament to the grit of the team to be able to perform well at the end of it. We had some great racing from both the men and women but also found plenty of things to continue working on back at Crandall. We’re excited to take on St. Bonnie’s at home next week.” – James Pinter
