We are back in action at the men’s NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, which are currently running in Minnesota. That means that we will be continuing with our live updates for the SwimSwam Fantasy Draft, which you can read about here. Each of the four GMs (me, Braden, Yanyan, and Coleman) drafted eight swimmers to our team and are competing to score the most points across the men’s and women’s NCAA Championships.
After the women’s meet, Coleman was in the lead with 74 points, while Yanyan wasn’t far behind with 71. Braden had a respectable 60 points for third place, while I was in last place with 32 points (no comment). Now that the men are competing, you can keep following along here to see how the race plays out.

Yanyan selections consistent with her team name. Haha, love the irony. Her IQ is stratospheric. Sorry guys, be grateful for the learning opportunity your failures provide. She went with quality. Olympic medalists. Proven success at the highest level. You also-rans got distracted by bathtub swimming. Yanyan kept the big picture in perspective. Congratulations Yanyan! 👍 🥇 🏆

Is Yanyan still 17 years old ? So impressive. (with a bit of luck thrown in but still impressive)
Yanyan. Can you pick some hot stocks for me? Please?

If my calculations are right, the best undrafted team is:
Hobson (16), McDuff (12), Alexy (10), Magahey (8)
Nelson (13), McMahon (12), Elendt (10), Parker (8)
89 points total
Standings without the first four picks would be Yanyan 109, Coleman 75, Braden 73, Ben 54. That undrafted team is likely ambitious-nailing McDuff, Alexy, and Parker would have been very difficult before the meet. But it does compete pretty well if you remove the top 4 from the scoring equation.

Leon vs Ben’s women’s team would be tied right now
He said he accidentally crossed MacNeil off his list or he would have picked her instead of Sullivan. If he had picked her instead then he’d be coming second overall.

I’m curious how she got this job, considering her youth.
being able to write good doesn’t really have an age limit
Neither does being able to write bad hey Steve?

Oh I love how this is going.
If I lose to Ben, I’m retiring.
Good news everyone, we still have an Editor in Chief!!!
