Bolles School’s Max Michael Heading North to Swim for Colgate University

Max Michael of Bolles School Sharks has signed an NLI to swim for the Colgate University Raiders beginning in the fall of 2015. Michael is a senior at the Bolles School, where he was a finalist in the 50 free at the recent 2014-15 Florida state high school championships.

Michael has made big leaps over the last year in all his short course yards events. He dropped 1.4 seconds in the 50 free, 1.9 in the 100 free, 5.4 in the 200 free, 2.1 in the 100 fly, and 2.3 in the 200y fly. His top times include:

Michael will join fellow-commit Ryan Mathes on the Raiders’ roster next fall, as Colgate continues to build the program with its new leadership team under head coach Andy Waeger.
