UCD Aquatics’ Natalie Bercutt, a junior at Davis Senior High School, has verbally committed to the University of Wisconsin for 2021.

While competing for Davis at the 2019 CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Champs, Bercutt, a then-sophomore, swam to victory in the 100 breast (1:03.75). At the subsequent 2019 CIF State Champs, Bercutt would touch in 19th with a 1:03.96, a couple of tenths off of making the B final.
Swimming club, Bercutt clocked top-30 finishes in the 100 breast and 200 breast, hitting lifetime bests of 1:03.10 and 2:16.59 respectively, in the process. This summer, at 2019 Speedo Juniors, she notched Olympic Trials cuts in the 100m breast and 200m breast, placing 18th in both races with lifetime bests.
Bercutt will join the Badgers right after they lose current junior Kelsi Artim, their top 100 breaststroker, while their best 200 breaststroker last year, Jenna Silvestri, will have one year of overlap with Bercutt.
Bercutt joins #4 Paige McKenna, #14 Mackenzie McConagha, and Abby Carlson in Wisconsin’s class of 2025.
