Prudence Rooker broke Liberty’s 200 IM school record on day 2 of the CCSA Championships.
Liberty completed a season sweep of Marshall, defeating the Thundering Herd, 177-123, Saturday at Marshall’s Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium.
Prudence Rooker of Liberty University pulled off the only sweep of a stoke, winning the 50, 100, and 200 breast.
Liberty downed Campbell, 237-94, in the two-day Central Virginia Duals, which wrapped up on Saturday at the new Liberty Natatorium.
The Liberty University Flames lead the Kansas University Jayhawks 96-90 after day one of their two-day dual meet.

Liberty grabbed a pair of wins in Texas this past weekend, defeating TCU 130.5-112.5 and Incarnate Word 162-81. Meanwhile, TCU overtook Incarnate Word 144-99. Highlighting the meet for Liberty was Prudence Rooker’s 57.76 in the 100 IM.
The Penn State women won their season opener on Friday, while the men fell to Georgia Tech. It was a tri-meet against Liberty and Georgia Tech for the women and a dual against the Yellow Jackets for the men.
Liberty will compete in a tri-meet against Georgia Tech and Penn State on Friday at 4 p.m. at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center.
Liberty’s Alicia Finnigan, Prudence Rooker, and Kristin VanDeventer each picked up double wins to help Liberty earn their first victory of the 2015-16.
The Liberty swimming & diving team begins its 2015-16 season, Saturday at CCSA opponent Campbell. The meet between the Lady Flames and Camels is set for a 1 p.m. start at Johnson Aquatic Center.
