“This is a huge victory for both our men and women. We have been focused on this meet since the beginning of the season,” said Head Coach Katelyne Herrington. “Both teams were able to get the win today. I know how good the athletes feel, and I’m proud of them.”

In the 400 free relay, the team of Ferguson, Brazil, Tan and Phillips finished first.

“We had a great week of training in Hawaii, and I felt like we continued to build as we focus on our culture. I was most pleased with our team’s focus as we had elements against us,” said Herrington. “We maintained our focus, even with the weather delay. That shows me how well we are preparing for conference, which is four weeks out.”
