The Herd fell to the Bobcats 186.50-113.50.

“It has been over six weeks since we’ve last competed,” swimming and diving head coach Ian Walsh said. “We talked about being bold in our performances and not being afraid to take risks in the heat of competition. I thought we did a good job of racing and finding those moments to put ourselves out there.”

In the diving portion of the meet, Grace Kelsheimer shined taking the 1m (252.30) and 3m (270.60) dives. Molly Warner picked up victories in 200 Freestyle (1:52.13) and 200 Backstroke (2:04.12) with Mia McBride winning the 100 Backstroke (56.86).

Grace Kelsheimer had a great showing today, winning both 1m and 3m dives tonight,” Walsh continued. “Molly Warner did a nice job of executing her race plans and walking away with two wins tonight. Mia (McBride) did a nice job finishing her 100 back and getting her hand on the wall in a tight race. We had 25 in-season bests and several swims right up against personal bests tonight.”

Marshall had an additional 16 top-three performances. The Herd’s best events were the 3m dive seeing Alaina Laster (231.83) join Kelsheimer in the top three with third. Allison Dodd (1:55.32) joined Warner with a third place in the 200 Freestyle.
