Ryan Garstang went on to win the boys 200 IM and 100 back. In the 100 back, Garstang swam to a 48.71 to win the race, shattering the UHSAA 5A record of 49.95

In the boys meet, Tennessee commit Jordan Tiffany was electric, breaking two overall UHSAA records.

Ankeny’s Trent Frandson then took down a 35-year-old State Record in the 200 free. He broke 1:36 for the first time, dominating in 1:35.68.

Bell, a sophomore, was the champion in both the 200 IM and 100 free. She now has back-to-back state titles in the 200 IM.

Punahou swept the 2020 Hawaii State Championships, extending their streak. This was the 7th-straight for the boys and the 5th-straight for the girls.
