After placing 8th in the 200-breast final at the 2021 Olympic Trials, Fallon got redemption tonight in Indianapolis. Fallon not only won the event in dominant fashion but broke the American record, touching at 2:06.54.
I have no way to back this up and yet I am confident in saying: USA men’s 200 breaststroke has the highest SAT score of any swim event.
So happy for Matt. Great young man from a wonderful family. Just could not be happier for him.
A thoughtful moment for a Paris-bound athlete.
His strategy for attacking the record(s) in the 200 breast was both clear and totally believable.
. . . And he didn’t forget his teammates going with him – good!
