UWCSEA East Dragons Swim Team seeks an experienced and forward thinking swim coach from August 2020. Nu Wave Swim Club is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, passionate swim coach to serve as the Head Site Coach for our site at the Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Qualified candidates will have strong communication skills. The Newman Site is home to Nu Wave Stroke School and Seasonal Competitive programs.
The Nu Wave Stroke School services swimmers, ages 5-10 years old, who are transitioning from lessons to swim team. Head Site Coach duties include:
Coach both the Whitecaps (9-12 yr old) and Varsity (13&O) Seasonal Competitive groups.

Waterloo Swimming, LP (WS) is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable Swim Coach to direct/lead one of our age group swim groups at Waterloo Swimming. Collingswood Marlins Swim Team
The Collingswood Marlins summer swim team is seeking an experienced swim coach for the 2020 swim season during which the Marlins will be competing in the National Division of the Suburban Swimming Association of South Jersey. We are looking for a high-energy, motivated individual to lead approximately 140 swimmers of all ability levels in our competitive summer swim league. Afternoon practices are held from 3:15 pm through 6:15 pm on weekdays beginning approximately Tuesday, May 26th at Roberts Pool in Collingswood, New Jersey . Weekday morning practices are held at the same location from 7:15 am through 10:30 am beginning Monday, June 24th. Regular season swim meets are held on Saturday mornings from approximately June 20th through July 25th with the League Championships scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday, August 1st and 2nd. Time trials are typically scheduled the Saturday prior to the first meet, and a Masters Meet will be held on approximately Sunday, July 26th. The team-wide banquet to celebrate the season is held shortly after Championships. The ideal candidate would have head coaching experience, strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to connect with children from grades K-12, and an infectious enthusiasm for the sport of swimming.
The ideal candidate will work together with the assistant coaches to carry out the day-to-day responsibilities of leading the team, under the supervision of the Marlins Parent Board and the Collingswood Director of Recreation.

Sahuarita Stingrays is looking for a part-time assistant swim coach, primarily working with ages 12 & under. Qualified candidates should be very responsible, prompt and enthusiastic about coaching and teaching. Coaching experience of at least 2 years is preferred, but not required. A history of competitive swimming, or a teaching background is also helpful.
Our coaching staff focuses on high quality technique instruction, keeping things fun, and racing every day. We have swimmers of all levels from total beginners to Olympic Trials qualifier. The primary coaching responsibility for this position will be preparing the 10 to 13 year old swimmers for the senior and high performance groups. Swimmers will need to be introduced to and begin implementing complex training concepts. The pre-senior ‘Gold Group’ has six 2 hour swimming sessions per week and three 30 min dryland sessions per week. The position will require the coach to plan and guide all 9 sessions.
Other coaching responsibilities will include assisting the head coach with the more junior groups as well as the senior program. Three training groups exist in the senior program and coaching assignments will be at the discretion of the head coach.
In addition, responsibilities include coaching at all scheduled meets (both on island and overseas), management of meet entries and results, maintenance of the Team Unify website, and routine administration assignments for the club.
The successful applicant must have a minimum of three years previous experience of coaching and motivating swimmers at all levels in a club competitive swim programme, and an excellent knowledge of current swimming techniques, training methods and FINA Rules. Minimum certification of ASCA Level 2 Swimming Coach or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree would be an advantage. Must also have relevant safety certifications, including First Aid, and CPR.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and be committed to attending Club fixtures including competitions both on Island and overseas which will require working evenings and weekends on a regular basis.

Recruitment, retention and athletic development plans for new athletes
Open communication with parents to ensure education and communication on all aspects of long term athletic development
Develop roles and responsibilities of parents, swimmers and coaches as well as individual athletic plans
Maintain good membership standing with USA Swimming and New England Swimming
Applicant Coaches must be:
USA Swimming certified or be willing and able to become USA Swimming certified within the first 30 days of employment
Able to exhibit strong effective teaching/communication skills
Knowledgeable of stroke and skill techniques
Knowledgeable of season/workout planning and dryland training/technique
Prior USA Swimming coaching experience with athletes of all ages
