  • Hangzhou, China
  • Tennis Centre, Hangzhou Olympic & International Expo Center
  • Live Results (Omega)

Making his first final here in Hangzhou, 26-year-old Kenneth To of Hong Kong produced a new National Record in the men’s 100m IM. After clocking 52.38 in the heats and then squeezing by with the 8th place time of 52.33 in semi-finals, To finally dipped under the 52 second threshold when it counted in the final, wrangling up a new lifetime best of 51.88 for 6th place.

To’s outing this evening overtook his own previous Hong Kong National Record of 51.95 he set back at the 2017 World Cup in Eindhoven, shortly after getting clearance to represent the Asian nation. To was once a World Cup Series overall winner competing under the flag of Australia, a country for whom he still owns the SCM 100 IM and 200 IM National Records.

To also competed in the 200m IM here in Hangzhou, but finished in 24th and well out of the final.
