Greece Continues To Stand At Top Of European Championships Medal Table Through Day 2

2024 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

After leading the medal table on day 1, Greece still stands at the top of the table after night 2. The country picked up another gold medal in the men’s 50 butterfly as Marios Stergios Bilas earned the win. Israel picked up another relay gold after winning the women’s 4x 200 free relay last night in a national record. Tonight, the team won the 4x 100 mixed medley relay. Israel originally touched second behind Poland but Poland was disqualified.

Hungary leads the total medals category with nine total. They picked up their first gold tonight as Ajna Kesely won the women’s 800 freestyle.

Czech Republic’s 1-2 finish in the women’s 100 freestyle puts them on the board along with bronze in the mixed medley relay after disqualifications from Poland and Greece.
