GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After having their first SEC meet cancelled due to Hurricane Milton on Oct. 11, the Florida men’s and women’s swim and dive teams travel to Athens, Georgia on Friday, Nov. 1 to kick off SEC competition against the Bulldogs in their annual Live Pink meet.
Events start at 11:00 a.m. ET, with both diving and swimming being streamed on SECN+. Live results can be found through Meet Mobile App (Swimming) and DiveMeets (Diving), as well as fans can follow @GatorsSwimDV on Twitter and Instagram for meet updates.

Gator Splashes
- In CSCAA’s rankings released on Oct. 17, both teams ranked No. 3.
- The men are coming off an 12th straight SEC Championship, while the Gator women enter 2024-25 SEC action with two-consecutive Conference Championship titles.
- Junior Josh Liendo holds the top-Conference times in the 50Y Free and 100Y Free as well as the second best in the 100Y Fly. Senior’s Julian Smith and Aleksas Savickas sit one-two in the 100Y Breast, respectively. Sophomore Jonny Marshall currently ranks second in the 50Y Back and 100Y Back, while freshman Aiden Norman is second in the 200y Back. For diving, junior Peyton Donald has the fourth-best three-meter score in the conference, with sophomore Conor Gesing following in fifth.
- For the Gator women, senior Emma Weyant leads the conference in the 500Y Free, while her fellow senior Gator Olivia Peoples sits second in the 100Y Fly. Sophomore Catie Choate ranks No. 2 in both the 100Y Back and 200Y Back, as sophomore JoJo Ramey is second in the 200Y Free and third in the 200Y Back. On the boards, sophomore Camyla Monroy sits third in the league on the 3-meter, while landing fourth on the 1-meter.
- In last week’s tri-meet against Tampa and Rollins College, Florida had a combined six swimmers tally a first-place finishes.
- The Florida swimming and diving program was the only program who had both teams finish in the top-five at NCAA Championships in the 2023-24 season.
- Florida returns 14 All-Americans on the men’s side, including Jake Mitchell, Josh Liendo, Julian Smith and Jonny Marshall. The Gators return 10 All-Americans on the women’s side, including Emma Weyant, Micayla Cronk and Camyla Monroy.
- Florida adds a combined 14 newcomers (eight on the men’s and six on the women), including two 2024 Paris Olympians. Freshman Luke Whitlock became the youngest male to make U.S. Olympic Swimming roster since Michael Phelps in 2000 after earning a silver medal in the 800 freestyle at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials. On the women’s side, freshman Julie Brousseau represented Team Canada in the 4×200 free relay
- Overall, 15 swimmers and divers represented Florida at the 2024 Paris Olympics, with six currently still competing for the Gators. Representing Team Canada, Josh Liendo won his first Olympic medal in Paris, earning silver in the 100m fly after clocking 49.99. Emma Weyant collected her second Olympic medal in July, adding a bronze medal in the 400m IM. She won silver at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the event.
On Georgia:
- No. 7/10 Georgia remains undefeated in the 2024-25 season, with the men dominating South Carolina and Florida state and the women sweeping SC and Vanderbilt in a Tri-meet, while also defeating Florida State.
- Redshirt senior Luca Urlando has earned two SEC Men’s Swimmer of the Week honors, while Elliot Woodburn and Drew Hitchcock have garnered one SEC Men’s Freshmen of the Week accolade a piece.
- On the women’s side, junior Leva Maluka shared Women’s Swimmer of the Week on Oct. 22, while Samantha Rydzewski was named SEC Women’s Freshman of the Week.
- Within the conference, Graduate Jake Magahey holds the top time on the men’s side in the 1,000Y Free, while ranking second in the 200y Fly, 200Y Free and 500Y Free. Urlando leads the 50Y Back, 200Y Back, 100Y Fly and 200Y Fly times, while also leading the way in the 200Y IM. Sophomore Thomas Koski has the No. 1 spot in the 200Y Free and ranks third in the 100Y Free. Freshman Drew Hitchcock is listed third in the 200Y IM as well. On the boards, sophomore diver Matthew Bray has the fourth-best SEC 1-meter score.
- On the women’s end, senior Bulldogs Abby McCulloh and Rachel Stege rank second and third in the 1000Y free, respectively. Stege also sits second in the 500Y Free, while sophomore Helena Jones is second in the 100Y Free. Senior Eboni McCarty has four top-five conferences times in the 100Y Back (3rd), 50Y Free (4th), 100y Free and 50y Back (5th). No women divers rank in the top-10 for either springboard.
