It could be a great medley relay, but we are missing a good backststroker:
Biederman 48.31
Feldwehr 59:81
Deibler 51:19 (from last year)
?
Most of the World would want Arkady (Bra, South AFrica, Germany)..
Well you are right womens freestyle at the moment is the worst event in germany, but you shouldnt forget that Steffen just finished her career and Brandt went already 24:90 in 50 free this year. I always hoped that Silke Lippok could be the next world class freestyle sprinter from germany (as a 14 yo old ath jwc in 2009 she was crazy fast and also broke some of Van Almsicks agr), but she was injured for a very long time and didnt improve in the last 2 years, but tomorrow well see how good she is at 200 free. Today Katrin Gottwald (1999) went 56:86 in 100 free, which is a pretty good time. Some of the other interesting… Read more »
Your men are swimming very well this week. You will have a pretty decent medley relay next summer.
It looks like your women’s team is in a total rebuilding mode with a lot of young promising hopefuls. We’ll see if some of them can become world class swimmers in the future.
Bobo whats the textile best of walters? And cielo was helped on 100 free but he still holds 2 world textiles lcm
Goog question.
I’m going to make a little investigation.
Ok Rafael, I have the answer.
His PB is the American record in 47.33 swum in Roma in 2009.
His textile best is 48.96 swum at the US nationals in 2007.
Good question.
Congrats to Paul Biedermann !
Very happy to see him back to such an impressive level : best time all suit for the 100m freestyle…Can’t wait for the 200m freestyle.
Maybe a sub 1.45 for tomorrow ?
Saturday results
48.31 for Biedermann in the 100 free. Deibler second in 48.56.
2.03.68 for Hintze in the 200 IM.
59.81 for Feldwehr in the 100 breast.
2.07.67 for Hentke in the women’s 200 fly.
55.05 for Brandt in the 100 free. Very slow race. Where are the German girls on sprint?
And her name isnt Werk but Wenk.
I dont think that she will go to the us, although it would surely help her, but i didnt find any news about her thinking to go there. She is a good talent in 100 fly and 200/400 IM, but she didnt really improve in the last 2 years or so.
Is Alexandra Werk thinking about swimming for an American university?
