I’ve interviewed many terrific people in person via FaceTime and Skype. The competition is good. Tomorrow I have several more interviews and I expect to make a decision on the positions very soon. There’s so much thought that goes into selecting the right people. How they complement our existing staff. What their strengths are and more. For the right person who is really strong in one area and not as strong in another – I’m willing to adjust the original responsibilities to get her or him on board. We want great teammates who can contribute and be successful in the short and long term.

MARKET AND INVENTORY COORIDNATOR
The newly created position of Marketing and Inventory Coordinator is now available at the Fitter and Faster Swim Tour. A nationwide search for a very organized, outgoing, professional to fill this role begins immediately.

The Marketing and Inventory Coordinator will work with our Logistics and Marketing team and be responsible for important areas of business related to the superior implementation of our camps and clinics throughout the United States.
While knowledge and an affinity for swimming are necessary, it is much more important that the candidates have the following skills and attributes:
- A driven, outgoing, thoughtful personality
- Exceptional at keeping organized and on schedule
- Superb writing skills
- Work experience as a full-time employee or internship as an executive assistant or coordinator at another company.
- Great at problem solving
- Asks the questions necessary to obtain a full understanding of what needs to get done
- Amazing references from past managers, colleagues and customers

Marketing and Communications Manager
The newly created position of Marketing and Communications Manager is now available at sister companies Fitter and Faster Swim Tour and Arluck Promotions. A nationwide search for a very creative, outgoing, experienced professional to fill this role begins immediately.
Fitter and Faster and Arluck Promotions are consistently developing leading edge products, marketing campaigns and promotions including our unique web site, DVDs, yearbook, van, promotional materials, and events.
The Marketing Manager will work with our CEO, our existing design team and other members of our companies to cultivate various areas of business. The person who gets this management level position will report directly to the CEO and Founder of Fitter and Faster Swim Tour and Arluck Promotions – David Arluck.
While knowledge and an affinity for swimming are necessary, it is much more important that the candidates have the following skills and attributes:
- A driven, outgoing, thoughtful personality
- Absolutely no less than two years of full-time work experience in marketing and/or sales with a quantifiable successful track record
- A keen understanding of all major social media networks
- Functional at an intermediate level in Photoshop and HTML
- Add value and carry out responsibilities associated with relationships that our athlete clients and businesses have with sponsors and media.
- Superb writing skills
- Ability to create video segments
- Eagerness to travel and work hard

Imagine working with Olympic athletes, traveling the country, and working with others who share a passion for swimming. Amazing right? The Fitter and Faster Swim Tour is currently looking for two to three part-time Event Managers located in the Washington, DC area.
The Event Managers are responsible for managing the on-site program for our unique swim clinics. We are looking for Event Managers who can think on their feet, assess all types of situations, and pick up the ball and run in a fast-paced environment. The Fitter and Faster Swim Tour has been a force in the swimming world. We are the only turn-key elite level swim clinic operation in the United States. Our mission is to “connect the grassroots of the sport of swimming with elite level athletes, all year round.” We do this through our national platform of events.
Between 2013 and 2014 we produced 230 clinics across 42 different states, from Florida to Alaska. In addition, we have also launched the best selling instructional swim DVD series in history. REQUIREMENTS
- Event experience is required.
- Knowledge of the swimming industry and background in competitive swimming is required.
- Must have general computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- The successful candidate is well organized, able to manage multiple tasks and on-going projects, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Event Managers must be wiling to travel across the country Friday through Sundays on two or more weekends a month.
- Must be located in Washington, DC area

Founded in 2009, Fitter & Faster Swim Tour Presented by SwimOutlet.com (“FFT”) is the only turn-key elite level swim clinic operation in the United States. FFT enables teams and communities to host a professionally managed swim clinic featuring many of the best swimmers in the world. Our mission is to teach and inspire swimmers of all ages and skill levels.
FFT handles all of the work from the day we agree to produce a clinic or camp with “Event Hosts” until the event concludes and we send “Thank you for attending emails” and surveys to all the participants and volunteers.
