2016 Men’s National League Water Polo Rosters & Schedules Announced

Huntington Beach, CA – February 2 – The second year of the USA Water Polo Men’s National League is set to begin this February 20 at Segerstrom High School in Santa Ana, CA. Eight teams will be competing over four competition weekends with rosters including several members of the USA Men’s Senior National Team as they prepare for the 2016 Olympic Games. Rosters have been announced for each participating club with teams allowed to declare a different line-up of athletes for each weekend. The eight competing teams include USA Blue, USA Red, USA NorCal, USA SoCal, New York Athletic Club, Olympic Club, Alumni, and Repubblica.

Olympians Tony Azevedo, Merrill Moses, Jesse Smith, and John Mann are among the high caliber athletes competing including some of the best in the college game. See below for complete team rosters. For a Week 1 schedule including links to live stats via The FOSH, click here.

Following the opening weekend, action moves to Henderson, Nevada for Week 2 on March 19-20 and then back to Southern California and Corona del Mar HS for Week 3 action on April 2. The 2016 National League concludes with the championship at the University of California-Berkeley on April 30-1 with live webcast coverage available through USA Water Polo TV.
