With More Experience, Kate Douglass Sees Herself Going Even Faster in SCM 200 Breast

Kate Douglass is once again a world champion in Melbourne, this time winning the 200 breast. The Virginia senior is happy with her championship record time, but as an event that’s fairly new to her, she is optimistic that she could drop even more time with more race experience.

She’s a NY’er. Lilly probably mean mugged her in the ready room. We in NJ/NY folk are a different breed. It probably fueled her even more.

It is obvious in this interview there is no animosity between the 2 women. In fact after the awards ceremony all 3 winners were chatty. smiling, and casual with each other.
