High School (Waterford Cyber Academy) Coming out of high school, Miranda Tucker was an Eight-Time All-American, Two-time MHSAA D-I Swimmer of the Year, and Two-time MHSAA D-I state champion and all-class record holder in the 100 breast and 200 IM. She was the 2014 MLive Detroit Player of the Year (Women's Swimming) and a Two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American. Tucker announced her verbal commitment to swim for Indiana on September 29, 2014. After her freshman year, Tucker transferred to Michigan, forcing her to sit out for 1 year. College (Michigan) 2015-2016 (Indiana) Tucker was a standout freshman for the hoosiers, placing 2nd in the 100 breast, 200 breast and 200 IM at the 2016 Big Ten Championships. At her first NCAA's, Tucker finished 2nd in the 200 breast and 3rd in the 100 breast. 2017-2018 Three-time CSCAA All-American In her first year at Michigan, Tucker placed 2nd in the 200 breast (2:06.59), 3rd in the 100 breast (57.93) and 8th in the 200 IM at the Big Ten Championships Tucker later became national runner-up in the 100 breast (57.98), while finishing 4th in the 200 breast (2:06.73) and 31st in the 200 IM (1:57.83) at the NCAA Championships.
