Led in part by a 49.3 butterfly split from Kelsi Worrell, the U.S. National Team took six-tenths of a second off the old U.S. Open Record and American Record.

Hosszu Wins 6th Straight World Cup, Morozov Wins Men’s Title

For the 6th consecutive year, Hungary’s Katinka Hosszu has won the FINA World Cup title in runaway fashion, with Russia’s Vladimir Morozov getting his first win on the men’s side.

Morozov Scares World Record on Day 1 of FINA World Cup – Hong Kong

Morozov picked up 2 medals today, one of them being gold. His victory came in the men’s 100 IM, an event in which he’s the World Record holder.

Worrell Crashes 100 Fly Party On Day 1 of FINA World Cup – Tokyo

Up until this point of the series, the 100 fly had been dominated by Jeanette Ottesen and Katinka Hosszu. In Tokyo, however, Team USA’s Kelsi Worrell took control of the race, picking up her first gold of the 2016 World Cup series.

Chalmers Wins His First 2016 World Cup Gold On Day 2 In Singapore

Romachuk completed his sweep of the distance races in today’s 1500 free. His 14:15.49 in that race crushed the previous World Cup Record of 14:27.65 set by Italy’s Gregorio Paltrinieri in 2013.
