Brooks Curry is a competitive swimmer who had his breakout season as a freshman at LSU, when he took the SEC title in the 100 freestyle. He is a 2021 Olympic gold medalist in the 4x100 free relay and NCAA Champion in the 50 and 100 free. High School At the 2019 Summer Jr Nationals, Brooks Curry was a part of 2 relays that broke the National Age Group Record in the 400 free relay and 400 medley relay. On February 11, 2019, Curry announced his verbal commitment to Louisiana State University. College (Louisiana State) 2019-20 Curry made a splash in his rookie campaign, winning the 100 free (41.81), finishing second in the 200 free (1:32.43) and placing sixth in the 50 free (19.39) at the SEC Championships. Curry also swam on LSU's 5th place 400 medley relay, 6th place 200 freestyle relay, 8th place 800 freestyle relay and ninth place 400 freestyle relay at the SEC meet.
