The Olympic competition pool is still closed to the press, but one of our Brazilian correspondents was able to snap some shots of the outside of the Olympic aquatics stadium, the warm-up pool, and the surrounding area.
For the Olympic test event, the Maria Lenk Trophy in April, the warm-up pool was not yet encased in its current bubble. During the event, some swimmers complained of a mosquito infestation in the warm up pool, but having the warm-up facilities indoors should assuage the problem.
