Lisa Mamie Breaks Swiss Record in 100 Breaststroke at Sette Colli

21-year old Swiss breaststroker Lisa Mamie has broken her own National Record in the women’s 100 meter breaststroke for the 2nd time in this calendar year. In finals on Friday at the Sette Colli Trophy, she swam 1:07.42 to finished 3rd behind Jessica Vall of Spain (1:06.67) and Martina Carraro of Italy (1:07.04).fs

The National Record, which belonged to her, was a 1:09.06 from last April coming into the year. She’s been faster now in 6 swims already this year, including a 1:08.23 in prelims. She was a 1:08.38 on Wednesday at the French Open, meaning that she found almost a full second improvement in 2 days.
