Freshman Kyle Capili was the first of the five to race a new top-time, earning the second-place finish in the 100 back with a 50.92. Sophomore Ethan Cole found the wall a full second before the second-place finisher in the 100 breast to earn his career best 56.61 in the event.
Senior Aidan Scott soared to the first-place finish in the 200 fly with a 1:52.73, taking the event handedly. Freshman Jacob Sotelo raced alongside and earned a career best 1:57.4 and a third-place finish. He returned later in the meet with another lifetime best after racing a 4:14.58 in the 400 IM.
