Free/Fly Specialist Nicole Fye Commits to Swim for Ohio State

Nicole Fye of Ashburn, Virginia has just committed to swim for The Ohio State University.

“I am absolutely thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to Ohio State! I love everything about it- the team, the environment, and the coaches! I know I will have so many amazing opportunities here, and I am so excited to be a buckeye!”

Fye is a senior at Rock Ridge High School, where she has twice earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors. She is the reigning Virginia 4A State High School champion and record-holder in the 200 free; her 1:50.23 crushed the previous mark of 1:53.89. Also at the 2016 state meet, Fye was runner-up in the 500 free and anchored both of Rock Ridge’s freestyle relays.

Fye swims for The Fish under Ray Benecki. Her best events are:
