Fordham Swim & Dive Announces Captains For 2025-26 Season

Bronx, N.Y. – (May 29, 2025) – The Fordham swimming & diving team has elected its captains for the 2025-26 season in a vote held by the team.

Miranda BonitatebusTherese Enriquez, and Hope Nolan were voted as team captains for the women’s team with Daniel Ribeiro and Theo Vandenberg selected as captains for the men’s team. Mya Bokerman was voted as the diving captain.

A three-year member of the women’s team, Bonitatebus has competed at the Atlantic 10 Championship in each of those seasons in the individual medley, breaststroke, and butterfly events.  As a sophomore, she scored in the 400 individual medley event at the league championship, placing 15th overall, after taking 17th place finish in that event as a freshman.  She is a member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and is studying Marketing.

Enriquez is another elevating senior and has competed at the last two Atlantic 10 Championships in the sprint freestyle and breaststroke events. She is a member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and is studying Accounting Info Systems.

Nolan, who is also an elevating senior, has competed at three Atlantic 10 Championships in the freestyle, butterfly, and breaststroke events.  Last season, she posted career-best times in the 100 and 200 freestyle events at the league championship, while also being a part of the 400 freestyle relay, which placed tenth.  Additionally, Nolan has served as a representative on the Fordham Student Athlete Advisory Council and was SAAC’s Marketing Coordinator for the 2024-25 season.  She is a member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and is studying Communication & Culture.

Bokerman has posted the Rams’ top diving score on the one-meter and three-meter boards in each of the last two seasons.  A two-time Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week in her career, she is a three-time competitor at the Atlantic 10 Championship, scoring at the last two.  She had her best performance as a sophomore, scoring fifth in the three-meter dive and sixth in the one-meter event at the 2024 Championship.  Bokerman is also a member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and is studying Biological Sciences.

Vandenberg is a three-year member of the men’s team, competing at the last two Atlantic 10 Championships.  Last season, he posted a career-best time in the 50 freestyle event at the Championship.  He is a member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and is studying Finance.

Ribeiro just finished his first season at Fordham, after transferring from Carson-Newman University.  He made an immediate impact, posting the Rams’ top time in the 100 butterfly and the 200 individual medley, while being among the top sprint freestylers.  At the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship, he earned a bronze medal as part of Fordham’s 200 freestyle relay, while scoring sixth in both the 200 and 400 medley relays.  Individually, he scored 11th in the 100 butterfly and 12th in the 200 individual medley.  He is currently studying Economics.
