Day 3 At The Paris Olympics: Non-Swimming Megathread

Day 3 of the Paris Olympics will feature competition in 25 sports. Medals will be awarded in 11 sports on the day.

Men’s Gymnastics Awarding First Medals With Team All-Around

Russia is the defending champion in the team all-around so a new team will stand at the top of the podium tonight. China and Japan are the favorites and Japan notably is home to defending all-around individual champion Daiki Hashimoto. Japan won silver as a team in 2020 but won in 2016 while China took home team all-around gold in 2012.

China In Search Of 8-Gold Sweep Of Diving, But Will Great Britain Stop It Again?

The men’s 10m synchronized diving event final is tomorrow. China won 7 out of 8 gold medals in diving in Tokyo with the men’s 10m synchro event being the lone exception as Tom Daley and Matty Lee won gold. Daley is back in the final today, this time with Noah Williams as his diving partner.

China Looks For 3rd Gold In Shooting So Far

China leads the medal table for shooting as they have won two out of the three events. South Korea won the other. The women’s 10m air rifle final is today and Huang Yuting will search for another gold after already winning in the mixed team event two days ago.
