Team USA’s Sean Grieshop blasted the final 50 of the men’s 400 I.M. in 27.94, tearing through his best time to win the event in 4:15.67.

Team USA came out in front of the prelims of the women’s 100 fly with a 58.87 by Cassidy Bayer. That’s a new best for Bayer, who came into the meet with a 59.00 from 2015 U.S. Nationals.

The Championship Record is on watch in the men’s 100 free. It currently sits at 48.97 done by Caeleb Dressel in 2013. USA’s Maxime Rooney and Australia’s Kyle Chalmers pose a major threat to that.
