With the Paralympic opening ceremonies set to go off on Wednesday in London (and swimming starting Thursday), it’s time to really get geared up for the Games. For those who followed the Olympics, the format of the results pages will be familiar, as they’re effectively the same.
Though TV coverage will be limited to mostly highlight shows, there is a full live stream of the swimming events online, with commentary, on Paralympic.org.
We’ve also compiled a full list of the Twitters for the American team, especially 16-year old first-time Paralympian Brickelle Bro, who has the best Twitter handle of any American swimmer: @MyFeetDon’tStink. Click here to follow a list featuring all of the American Paralympians, and if you don’t have Twitter bookmark this page because we’ll have the feed below (right).

Her feet don`t stink because she doesn`t have any.
I’m gonna follow Brickelle Bro on Twitter for both her real name and her twitter name. Good luck to all the Paralympians, and: Good luck, Bro! (sorry but my feet do stink).
I just googled her and she is from Denver, is a freestyle specialist, was born without feet, is a model, makes cupcakes to raise money for charities, has her own foundation called My Feet Don’t Stink to provide opportunities for disabled girls/athletes, is a straight A student, “This girl has danced in three dance recitals with ballet and tap shoes, played soccer with bows in her hair, hiked to the tippy top of the world on purple legs, she has been a training video for TSA.” … Read more »
Dammit, I was under the impression she actually did have feet.
We are all behind you! Hope the skits were fun- make sure my 1996 teammate John Register gives you some special cheering! Go show the world what Uss Paralympic swimming is all about!
