2023 Women’s NCAA Championships: Results & Records Summary

2023 NCAA WOMEN’S SWIMMING AND DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Virginia Cavaliers cruised to a third straight national title at the Women’s NCAA Championships last month, winning 11 of 18 swimming events to amass a total of 541.5 points, 127 clear of runner-up Texas.

UVA was led by senior Kate Douglass, who swept her individual events with new NCAA, U.S. Open and American Records in the 200 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, and 200 IM, and the Cavaliers also won all five relays at the event.

Louisville deserves a special award for overachieving at NCAA for number of years. Coach Albiero seems to know how to bring the best from his swimmers at the most important meet of the year.
