13 year-old Regan Smith put up a 2:13.72 in the A final of the 200 backstroke to move her up from 21st to 15th all-time in the all-time 13-14 top 100. Considering she’s only 13 and that the NAG is Missy’s 2:09.16, I’d say there’s a distinct chance she can get there.

It sure looked like Adrian was shaved from watching the video. Wonder why he would shave fwor a November meet?

Maybe to see where he is at(on his training program).
The only thing I worry about Adrian is to try to have a peak in 50 and 100 free. I hope he try to do a “Cielo”, choosing 50 as a main event and training for 100 aiming relays. I fear trying to be at his best in both can let him out of medals in both events.

I love seeing Becca Mann come into her own.

Adrian looking good. 48.49 ain’t 21.56, but it’s a very, very solid time for this time of year.

I only worry he’ll have the problem he’s had recently– 48.0-48.2 in season and maybe 47.9 on taper.

I think we’re also seeing the struggle of preparing for and swimming both the 50 and the 100 together begin to manifest itself.

The last person to win both in the Olympics was Popov and he did that with 22.1/48.7. 21.1/47.5 are totally different animals and we’re seeing guys that can do one or the other, but not both.

48.49 for Adrian , just in front of Condorelli 48.69 !!! Great race

Close, 1:57.30, I honestly think he is a factor for Rio, he looked so smooth that final, maybe he’ll finally have a breakthrough, the only swim were he has shown is potential is his WR
