“Xop the Drop” Unveiled as Mascot of 2013 World Championships

The Royal Spanish Swimming Federation and FINA have unveiled “Xop,” a gigantic drop of water, as the official mascot of the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona, Spain.

Xop, designed by Spanish artist Albert Xop Mir, was chosen through an open contest and has a mosaic design much in the mold of famed 19th century architect of Barcelona Antoni Gaudi.

Yes in deed Mel , Barcelona is a very colorfull interesting city . I will probably come there as well . Would be great to meet up there and have fun .

So…I’m thinking the entire swimswam team needs to be in Barcelona. That city’s just too amazing to miss. Add great swimming and it a swimswam party…
