Day 2 of the TAC Spring Invitational featured 16-year-old Claire Curzan breaking the 15-16 NAG in the women’s 100 backstroke. If you aren’t caught up on Curzan’s swim, you can read about it here.

TAC 15-year-old Keelan Cotter, after winning 2 women’s events on day 1, took the women’s 200 IM in 2:16.02. Cotter came in well under the Olympic Trials Wave I cut of 2:17.39, marking her first Trials cut of her career.

Lance Norris, a TAC 17-year-old, who swam to a Wave II cut in the 400 IM on Friday, swam a personal best of 2:04.18 in the men’s 200 IM on Saturday. The swim marked a significant drop for Norris, coming in 3.99 seconds under his previous best of 2:08.17. Norris touched just a hair off the Wave I cut of 2:04.09.

Another TAC 17-year-old, Brooke Zettel, roared to a new best time of 2:14.46 in the women’s 200 fly, touching first by well over 4 seconds. Zettel’s swim marked a 2.54-second drop from her previous best of 2:17.00, which she swam back in 2019. The swim also marks an Olympic Trials Wave I cut for Zettel. Zettel already has the Wave I cuts in the 100 fly and 200 IM.

Jacob Pishko, an 18-year-old from TAC, swam a 2:00.34 to win the men’s 200 fly, nearly breaking the 2:00 barrier, and picking up a Wave I cut. Pishko entered the meet with a personal best of 2:01.82. TAC 13-year-old Mia Jeltema swam a massive best time en route to winning the women’s 100 breast, posting a 1:13.10.
