SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – It was a big day for the University of St. Thomas swim and dive teams. The Tommies officially kicked off the second half of the 2024-25 season, the final stretch of the season as they prepare for next month’s Summit League Championships. It was exactly the start St. Thomas was looking for. The men took down Augustana 146-142, using several strong swims to upend the Vikings, while the women swept Augustana and Sioux Falls Friday evening. The Tommies upended Augustana 165-135 and defeated Sioux Falls 204-90.

WOMEN’S RESULTS:

Thoughts from head coach Matt Bos after Friday’s competition:
“This was a tough meet, and we are really happy with the way our teams pushed through and came out with some great wins.  This meet was filled with some long delays and technical issues so am already long day turned into not only a physical challenge but forced us to mentally stay in it.  The results were great, but our times don’t reflect how well this group has been training.  We have a lot of momentum moving into this last month of the season.”
