Seliskar, Harnish, Grieshop Among 2014-15 SCY IMX Challenge Winners

The male and female winners in USA Swimming’s IM Xtreme (IMX) challenge for the SCY 2014-2015 have been announced, with some familiar names highlighting the tops of the point rankings. Sean Grieshop, Courtney Harnish, Andrew Seliskar and Taylor Ruck are among those young stars on the rise, who are already competing and making a name for themselves at the senior level.

To refresh, the IM Xtreme (IMX) ranking is tallied from swimmers competing in a series of five or six events, where their times are then ranked via a “Power Points” system.  Swimmers must swim each required event at least once a season at a USA Swimming-sanctioned meet.

The events per age group are as follows:

9 & Under; 10-year olds: 200 Free, 100 Back, 100 Breast, 100 Fly, 200 IM
11-year olds; 12-year olds: 400 Free (LC) or 500 Free (SC), 100 Back, 100 Breast, 100 Fly, 200 IM
13, 14, 15, 16, 17, & 18-year olds: 400 Free (LC) or 500 Free (SC), 200 Back, 200 Breast, 200 Fly, 200 IM, 400 IM
