After winning the 50 and 200 breast at last years Short Course World Championships, Fink completed his hat trick with gold in the 100 breast tonight. Fink has found success while not focusing solely on swimming during the last year and a half, working toward his Master’s degree in electrical engineering at Georgia Tech while training. That trend continued in Melbourne, as Fink says he submitted his final assignment for school just hours before the 100 breast final.
I finished my master’s degree, took my dog for a walk, and slept for like 15 hours.
Pull an all-nighter in a new time zone? It’s like breaking the space-time continuum.
