Former Rio Governor Sergio Cabral Sentenced to 14 Years in Prison

Sergio Cabral, ex-governor of the State of Rio de Janeiro, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for money laundering and corruption charges. Cabral helped Rio win the bid to host last summer’s Olympics in 2009.
